Ten minute drive from airport in industrial outskirts 20 mins out of city. Nothing to see or do nearby. Building looks quite new on the outside but quite old fashioned inside. Room and bathroom were large and clean, TV was oldfashioned cabinet one. Reception staff had some English, but not dining room or other staff. Breakfast buffet available from about 4.30am for those on early flights. All day coffee in dining room, could take to room. Reception staff friendly and helpful. 3 computers in lobby with free internet. Fine for overnight stay.

LAN airlines put us up in this hotel after changin our flight. It was a nice hotel with good amenities. The rooms look older, but the gym, pool, lobby and restaurant were nice. The airline menu (for passengers put there) was good, not special (but it was free). However, for a normal hotel restaurant, the prices are actually very reasonable.

TIP: The hotel's rate for a cab to the center of Santiago is fair ($20, tried a local cab with the meter on the way back, same price)

TIP 2: Don't do an excursion with the hotel (way overpriced). A cab will take 1-4 people to the Andes for half/full day for about $80-$100

We stayed at this hotel while in transit to continue our trip. It is very convenient, close to the airport, free shuttle service, a great breakfast included, with many good selections of breads, pastries, etc.
The place is very nice, clean, quiet, considering the location and the high traffic area. Everything went very smooth. We had prepaid our stay and had no troubles at all. I recommend it for a short stay.

negative:
-too far from downtown and the subway metro
-a bit expensive

If you are willing to do something in downtown you may choose another hotel, perhaps near the subway metro
