“Would definitely stay there again.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

We arrived on Thursday evening to be met by the night shift. Dave's customer service skills are second to none. We were there for a 4 day dancing competition. The hotel was very accommodating and welcoming. Rooms are of a good standard and extra towels given, in fact any requests were met promptly. There is a restaurant Table Table which is very good. Reasonable prices too. The children were also welcomed. Only disappointment was the bar closed far too early. However some guests would be likely to complain if there were a late bar so understandable. Overall our stay was enjoyable and would definitely go back. Powdered scrambled egg, disgusting however Sausages and bacon delicious! A taxi to Piccadilly costs £15.00 which is quite good and takes 30 minutes approximately . There were four of us to share the fare, there are bus and tram services locally. All staff in hotel were very friendly and warm. Nothing was too much for them especially Dave on the night shift, a lovely man who interacted with all of the customers. Would go back just for the hospitality. Premier inn , premium staff!

“Reccomended”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2011

My son & I recently stayed at Sale Premier Inn & would reccomend it to anyone going to Manchester area.
Friendly & helpful staff, good location for Trafford Centre & Old Trafford FC.
Easily found as I was first time traveller to area.

Room Tip: Premier Inn, enough said.

“Usual excellent Premier Inn quality”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 November 2011

Welcome and reception - friendly and efficient. Rooms - plenty of space, clean, very comfortable bed with choice of pillows. Bathroom ok though the shower could be better and as it's over the bath, which is quite a high one, not so easy to get in and out!
Breakfast - again, usual Premier Inn good quality and excellent value. Cooked breakfast not served on a buffet but brought, freshly cooked. You can still have as much as you want and I'm sure can ask for more if you want. Quite a long wait which is unusual but they seemed a little short staffed and maybe not well organised - we had to wait for them to bring clean glasses and more orange juice and they had run out of the usual breakfast coffee mugs and had obviously 'borrowed' some cups from the bar. But this didn't spoil our enjoyment at all.
We had a meal in the pub - the Mersey Farm - in the evening and were very impressed with the quality of the food, the friendly and efficient service and as with the breakfast it was very good value.
We were there for one of our regular trips to football at Old Trafford and on checking in after the match noticed that they now do shuttle trips from there to the ground. We probably wouldn't use it but certainly a useful option for a lot people.

Room Tip: I suspect the rooms are all the same and no exciting views from anywhere.

“Good value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 October 2011

We stayed overnight after a shopping trip in Manchester. The staff were very friendly and informative and the room was clean and had everything we required. The pub next door offered food at a reasonable price and the breakfast was good value for money, offering as much as you could eat. The waiting staff made you feel very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone

“Excellent Value for Money - Recommended”

My husband and I were stopping overnight, as we were collecting our son from nearby Manchester airport early the following morning. We always choose Premier Inn for our short and long term stays and we were not disappointed. This particular hotel was again excellent value for money. The receptionist, Dave, was very welcoming and helpful. The room, as is the norm, was spotlessly clean and well equipped. We would certainly use this hotel again if we were in the area. The adjoining pub offered good, reasonably priced food and the staff were very helpful.
