The hotel is really good and the staff is very courteous. They take care of all your needs and are very polite.
Pros:
1. Free breakfast buffet. The breakfast was extremely delicious. Eat as much as you want, but get there early. The breakfast bar closes @ 10:00. You can ask your server for an omellette and he'll gladly make you one! I found that a really nice touch.
2. Indoor pool if you want to swim.
3. Free stuff in the fridge - replenished daily.
4. Free car park.
Cons:
1. Really far from downtown Paris. So, if you are looking for a place to stay and also visit all the sites in Paris, you'd need to rent a car. Hiring a taxi is not recommended as it can get really expensive - really fast. The cars are small (compared to US standards), but the steering is on the left side and you drive on the right side of the road (just like here in the states). However please note that the French are not as strict when it comes to lane discipline. You'd also have a tough time navigating the round-abouts.
2. Do not order dinner here. The food was mediocre, but pricey! Also, since you're in the middle of nowhere, you're out of luck. There is a middle eastern restaurant in downtown 'Le Chappelle en Serval' which is the village in which this hotel is located. The food here was better and cheaper than the hotel food.

Now a bit about Paris. One of my biggest complaints about Paris is that the traffic is not very well organised. The roads are circular. Trying to turn around on a highway is an exercise in craziness! Especially to someone from the US where we have excellent roadway systems. Also, since the city is hundreds of years old, the roads all lead into the city and are kinda ad-hoc.
That, and the prices. Euros are getting more and more expensive by the day. Every meal in Paris was expensive. $70 for a mediocre meal is common. One of the best meals we had was on Rue Cler at a restaurant called Cafe du Marches. They had their plat du jour and we ordered it. Some fish with creamy sauce and grean beans. it was the best meal we had in Paris and it cost only 32 Euros.
