“Great night in Scotland!!!”

My wife and I just finished backpacking through Europe and this was by far one of the best accomodations we had. We hired a car and drove the Isle of Skye and originally intended to head down to Glen Coe and get a room, but happened upon Sonas when we were near Eilean Donan castle. The rate was fantastic and Angela went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We were in a bind with clothing and she happilly volunteered to help us out there. The hot water heater broke while we were there, and she apologized profusely for it. Breakfast was fantastic!

Make sure you go down to the castle in the evening as the lighting is amazing!

“We loved our stay here!”

Sonas is situated in the most perfect of locations. Within 200 hundred yards of this welcoming and comfortable accommodation is Eilean Donan Castle, the beautiful and mystical icon that so picturesquely attracts visitors to the Scottish Highlands! Also visit the atmospheric pub/restaurant The Clachan which is practically on the doorstep of Angela's welcoming guest house. We spent 3 days here and loved every minute of it! Angela provided us with a great breakfast at a time to suit us and then filled our flask with hot water and provided us with coffee, sugar and milk for our picnic! She even offered to provide us with sandwiches!! Thank you Angela and family! Love from Tommy and Janie xx

“Best accommodation in the Highlands”

This was the best accomodation we came across on my Scottish holiday. We originally intended only to stay one night but extended it to 3 nights and used it as a base to travel round from. The landlady,Angela, made us feel that we were at our second home - true Highland Hospitality -as we should have expected when we saw a photograph of the Highland sport - shinty - prominently displayed at the front door. The house which appears to be fairly new - has a beautiful landscaped garden and the ensuite bedrooms were of a higher standard than many of the 4 star hotels that we have stayed in. Breakfast was excellent with a huge variety available - although I did not like the beans but that is a personal choice. The prices quoted per room is equivalent of that quoted for per person in other establishments. We cannot wait to return to stay with Angela and her family again and can thoroughly recommend Sonas.
