Stayed here for 1 night and was nice room overlooking the cricket grounds, helpful staff, only downside is the rooms are freezing had sleep in a jumper to keep warm, wouldn't prob stay here again Becouse off how cold it was be Warner sleeping on a park bench! Best to stay in summer where no heating is needed

This place was terrible.... for the same price or a few quid more I would recommend the Premier Inn. Staff were friendly upon arrival but customer service was inconsistant, I was ignored for far too long on a few occassions whilst staff chatted.
The lift and reception stank of vomit, my room was unclean and in desperate need of some restoration.
The TV didn't work and the instructions were less than useless. Alright if you want to watch a rained-out cricket match though!
Wi-fi is free which I consider a bonus and was good quality.
The breakfast was edible but slow to be replenished and they offer no hot food.
Due to their being no restaurant in the hotel, you either have to go out driving around or order in from a selection of crap takeaways. Do not opt for the Chinese! Mine came with a big piece of spikey metal in it!
I have sworn never to revisit this ghastly place again and strongly recommend you avoid it as well, until it has had a refurb!

This is a budget hotel but for the same money wish we'd have stayed in a Premier Inn/Travel Lodge/Holiday Inn Express etc. Staff were great but hotel poor. Beds were small and uncomfortable, curtains had condensation stains, the tv remotes had cellotape wrapped around them and the instructions to use were completely wrong. The shower is not very powerful and finally the corridors have carpet tiles with some gaps around them and not great for high heels! To sum up much better budget hotels are available.
