We stayed at Hotel Adler a while ago, but we have such fond memories, I needed to write a few good words.

The village of Villabassa is quaint and tiny, so don't come here expecting an action-packed vacation. What you will see are gorgeous mountains, hillsides covered in sheep, hikers in the summer and skiers in the winter. And oh, the fresh air! I wish I could bottle it.

We liked our room very well. The staff was efficient and professional. The dinner at the restaurant was delicious, and the buffet breakfast was truly outstanding. We loved the do-it-yourself muesli bar.

We came on the train (which was a lovely way to travel), but there's a bike path that we saw from the windows of the train car that really looked well-maintained and worth the journey. Maybe we'll see Hotel Adler again someday...

We have spent a weekend in this hotel, we booked a suite and it was really superb, large, nice, comfortable and with a beatiful bathroom.
The Hotel looks well maintained, sited in the centre Village, you dominate the square in front of the facility. The Restaurant is xactly what you are searching in a mountain village, wood and warm are the 2 main characteristics you find.
Food is Ok, honestly I think we had a dinner not particularly good even if it's ok, my feeling is that it was not the right evening ;-); you can be more lucky and find the Cook in a better shape.
Nice swimming pool, and other facilities (es solarium/cinema/library), every thing is well positioned and at your disposal for the time you stay.

Villabassa is lovely and you can find beatiful places where to go and do trekking/hiking/biking; we do reccomend your stay in this hotel!

charming hotel with fabulous food, great wine selection (starting from around e19/bottle) with really friendly genuine staff. Highly recommend especially for the food.
