Stayed here 2 years ago and returned yesterday on the £99 pamper package, this place is amazing, from check in to check out, the hotel is one of the best 4 stars we've ever stayed in, food amazing, service really good, staff attentive & friendly, cannot recommend enough, you will not be dissapointed.

We stayed on a spa break deal which included a 2 course meal, breakfast, a mini treatment in the spa, full use of the facilities and an upgrade to executive room all for £50 per person!
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was to a high standard and overlooked the golf course. The evening meal was really good and breakfast spread impressive.
I cannot fault this place and would definately like to return.

Quite difficult to locate as signage poor. First question at reception was can I take a copy of your credit card- Not -"do you need help with your luggage" which we obviously did and which arrived 10 mins later. Room was clean but very dark decor, and as on the ground floor we checked the unnecessary french doors on to the car park and found them unlocked and ajar, which rather defeated the purpose of the complex card operated main door lock!,Very much an up market dormy house atmosphere with golf and golfers and thier cars eveywhere. When retiring we asked for the specified free mineral water, to be told a standard room did not qualify but they would supply one on this occasion as our booking specified it ! We booked through Late Rooms.com for £60 B&B which was good value but we would not have been happy if we had had to pay the alledged full price of £225 for this definitely not 4 star hotel.Incidentally the bath appeared to be plumbed in the wrong way around with the head and arm rests inaccessible under the wall mounted filler tap and the bath design had the plug and chain in the middle which made it uncomfortale to lie in the bath.

Booked in on the afternoon of a Saturday not via an online hotel site for that night.
We took an upgrade and ended up with an amazing executive room. It was huge and came with a free bottle of wine. The facilities were excellent, the staff were excellent, polite, friendly and funny (that was nice )
A wedding was on and it was busy so didn't eat in the restaurant, but it is very close to a number of others.
Beautiful setting and ideal for a relaxing night or longer.
