We spent a lovely 3 nights at Celtic Manor Guest House over Christmas 2011. Jane and Alan, the owners, have found a winning combination: a warm and personal welcome, a dedicated and friendly team of staff, a delicious breakfast, breathtaking views, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean throughout. Our room was delightful and the view from our balcony out across Gordon's Bay magnificent. My one regret was not having time to enjoy the spa facilities, but I'll be back! Celtic Manor could easily be used as a base to explore the Cape region. At half an hour's drive from Cape Town it is a comfortable day-trip, whilst being far enough away from the tourist hustle and bustle, nestled at the sleepy end of Gordon's Bay. Bliss!

I came across Celtic Manor & Spa quite by accident. I was looking for a Spa breakaway, but close to home. Celtic Manor is out of this world. The sweeping views across the Bay ensured endless views of sun set and the yachts bobbing in the harbor. The staff were attentive, friendly. The food was just spectacular! The Spa was amazing. I normally do not stay twice at the same place, but I would make an exception for Celtic Manor!

I have just stayed at Celtic Manor for the second time. Jane and Alan and the rest of the staff make you feel incredibly welcome. It is spotlessly clean, serves a fantastic breakfast, has breathtaking views across the bay and all the treatments I had in the spa were on a par with any I have ever had (and I have had many!). They are very knowledgeable about the area and what excursions/activities are available. Would recommend in an instant.

Not just a superbly located guest house and Spa, but a real home from home with the most spectacular views across False Bay to Table Mountain. Whether you are just needing a bed for a couple of night or perhaps a location for a really special weekend, Celtic Manor offers the lot. There is nothing to fault, from Jane and Allan's welcome to the toal package of food and drink available. It might only be advertised as a bed and breakfast guest house, but talk to Allan or Jane about the most incredible location for a dinner and you will not be disappointed. As fgor the bed rooms, they are to die for, as you lie in bed looking out across the bay with only the sound of the waves breaking on the beach at Bikini Bay to disturb you.
