“A lovely stay!”

I lived near Pietrasanta for a bit and was looking for a charming yet reasonably-priced place to take my mother --- this fit the bill beautifully! Our room was absolutely gorgeous with an amazing bathroom (they were nice enough to give us an upgrade when we arrived) and my mother was blown away. They brought a bottle of prosecco and berries to the room when I mentioned it was her birthday.
Breakfast was a great buffet with cheese, meats, yogurt and all of the other great goodies good European hotels usually offer.
It's just a short walk to the piazza and shops, and a few miles drive from the beach... they have access to a great beach club. Since we were there slightly off-season, access was free, which was a real treat.
Nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay!
PS If you have time, visit Il Bottaccio for lunch or dinner, a special experience and just short drive to Motignoso.

“A comfortable and well positioned hotel.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2010

Quite a luxurious hotel in a good position in Pietrasanta. The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and they couldn't do enough for you. The room was very grand. It was a little too warm for us and with the doors open the street was quite noisy. Staff were happy to turn the heating off on request though. Was different to have breakfast served in room for first two days, prefer to eat downstairs personally. Overall a nice hotel in a good setting with excellent staff.

“Fabulous!!”

What a wonderful hotel. Our stay was the most pleasant from beginning to end. The room was lovely - spacious and clean, and the staff were the most pleasant I have encountered. We were served a delightful breakfast in our room on the first morning, with excellent coffee (which is a rarity!) at no extra charge! On our second evening Alexandra sent us up a complementary bottle of very good prosecco with strawberries and nibbles. Breakfast the following morning in the dining room was suberb, fresh and delicious.
Free wifi in the room, free parking (with hotel permit) directly outside the hotel. Pietrasanta town right on the doorstep.
All hotels should be like this!!!

“What a gem!”

We spent 3 nights at Palazzo Guiscardo and can't wait to go back! Their website is very faithful to what you'll find: class from beginning to end and incredibly beautiful, impeccably clean rooms (even our small balcony was cleaned every day).
However, the best they have to offer is their wonderful staff, knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. We miss them already. Pietro's tourist tips with a touch of chic were invaluable as were Debora's. Milosh serving breakfast with a smile was a great way to start your day.
Locations is great, a 5-minute walk to the historic centre along such a nice shopping street. Parking in front of the hotel was never a problem. Their restaurants'
recommedations were terrific and not tourist traps.
I had mixed feelings about writing this review, terrified it'll become so popular that their 9 rooms will be fuly booked next time we want to book to go back...cause we shall go back for sure! Go and enjoy!

“Lovely hotel, beware extras”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 August 2009

We enjoyed our stay. Lovely hotel and good, helpful staff. Nothing too much trouble. Helped with all sightseeing queries and booked restaurants for us etc. Only gripe was that anything hot for breakfast was an extra charge. Everything in the minibar was extra - including water. Charging these prices we didn't feel they should be adding these extras. Location was good, away from busy coastal resorts. Some good restaurants to choose from (only breakfast in hotel).
