“Lovely Elysium”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

Large hotel on a lovely position, at the end of the beach, beautiful pool area, plenty of sun-loungers available.
We enjoyed our breakfast on the rooftop terrace as part of the Elite club facilities and also the serviced lounge offering drinks & nibbles.
spotlessly clean rooms, large balcony and terrific views out to the sea.

The Fresh restaurant was our favorite for lunch, we also tried the Noble Rooftop restaurant and enjoyed it, but thought it was only worth one visit as the main dining room had lots of choice...buffet style & also a menu to choose from...so plenty of variety.
As many other reviews have mentioned the evening entertainment is Very subdued and most guest's seem to spend the night sitting on their balcony, which makes the bars and lounges seem a bit lacking in atmosphere...which would be my only negative on this hotel

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience following your recent stay at the Elysium Resort & Spa.

We were very happy to note your satisfaction in regards to most aspects of our hotel namely the resort’s facilities, cleanliness, our executive club concept as well as our food and beverage facilities and would like to warmly thank you for the rewarding comments made.

Elysium features discreet entertainment that includes various shows, themed nights and daily activities, something that is often misunderstood when compared with the traditional animation / entertainment programs found in other hotels. Nevertheless, this issue has been taken into consideration and there are plans of enriching the entertainment program for summer 2012.

Once again thank you for your comments and very much hope to welcome you back in our resort in the not so distant future.

Best Regards,
Elysium Resort & Spa

“Confortable hotel with excellent staff.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2011

Luxuary, large, clean and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff. Public areas lack a bit of atmosphere. We stayed in a superior double room with sea view. As our part of the hotel was horseshoe shaped the sea view was at a 90 degree angle but perfectly ok. The rooms were excellent with fridge and kettle. Nothing in the fridge apart from a complimentary bottle of wine and water on our arrival; very nice touch.
We were there in the last week of the season in October and a couple of the bars had closed but there were more than enough facilities. Room service was excellent.
The bus to Rhodes town stops outside the hotel but, even late in the season, was rammed and we often got a €15 taxi ride back from Rhodes town as the bus was like travelling in rush hour London. Don't bother with Falaraki but Lindos is well worth a trip.
There is also a ferry about 100m down the beach which was expensive at €6.50 one way but worth doing for the experience.
This is an excellent hotel, the worst of it being the paid for internet, in non elite club accomodation, that was through a cable in your room. Seems very old skool now.
We would recommend this hotel.

“Excellent service great hotel but drinks a bit expensive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 October 2011

We checked out today after a ten day half board stay in a delux room. The hotel is spotlessly clean, fantastic sea views and the staff are helpful, smart and friendly. Excellent customer service! The hotel is a little isolated but there are a couple of places ideal for lunch nearby just follow the path from the beach left. Only a ten minute walk.

Drinks a little expensive €4.50 for a large beer (but it was not really large). Taxi to nearby Faliraki €7 (ten mins) or Rhodes town €15. You will be charged €2 extra on top on outward journey by taxi if you book it via hotel reception.

A very pleasant stay wood recommend this to anyone who wants quality. Entertainment very low key so if you want hotel entertainment you should look elsewhere.

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback from your recent experience at the Elysium Resort & Spa.

We were delighted to read that you found our hotel to be great and would like to warmly thank you for your praise in regards to the cleanliness and staff behavior experienced.

While we felt sorry to note your dissatisfaction in regards to our beverages’ prices, we would like to clarify that those are aligned to what other five star hotels charge. As far as taxi prices are concerned, we would like to stress that the outward journey (hotel to airport) is charged more and confirm that the price difference has nothing to do with the hotel.

As previously stated in Tripadvisor, the hotel features discreet entertainment that includes various shows, themed nights and daily activities, something that is often misunderstood when compared with the traditional animation / entertainment program found in other hotels and would like to thank you once more for pointing this out.

We hope to have the pleasure to welcome you back at the Elysium Resort & Spa should your future travel plans call for a trip to Rhodes.

Best Regards,
Elysium Resort & Spa

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments on your recent stay at the Elysium Resort & Spa.

We are very pleased to read that you have had a good vacation overall despite some minor issues encountered. Please kindly note that our internet connection’s speed is affected based on what other guests are downloading and felt sorry to hear that you found this to be slow at times.

As far as the pool’s temperature is concerned, we would like to note that this was a rather isolated issue caused by the sadden temperature drop in October, which is an unusual phenomenon given the fact that the weather is generally exceptional during this time of year (Average High in October 24°C, Average Low 17°C).

We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in our resort for another relaxing vacation should you decide to visit Rhodes again in the future.

Best Regards,
Elysium Resort & Spa

we stayed here for a week with our 20 year old daughter and her boyfriend and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.the hotel is beautiful, very clean and the staff without exception are faultless and so friendly.the food was excellent especially the evening meal i would say the best of any hotel we have eaten in!! pool side beds really comfortable with little pillows. only negative is the entertainment in the evenings, it could be better and the drinks prices are a little steep.

Room Tip: i believe all rooms face the sea so excellent views!

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel on Tripadvisor.

We are delighted to read that you thoroughly enjoyed your stay with us and would like to thank you for the positive comments made in regards to the staff, food and the hotel’s cleanliness.

We would also like to confirm your observation in the room tip provided since the Elysium has 98% of its rooms facing the sea; namely 321 sea view rooms out of a total of 327.

As far as our entertainment program is concerned we would like to note that the hotel features discreet entertainment that includes various shows, themed nights and daily activities that are harmonically combined in such a way so as not to disrupt the tranquility and relaxation of our guests. We understand that such a program may not be suitable to everyone’s taste and often gets misunderstood when compared with the traditional animation / entertainment program offered in most resorts.

Thank you once again for choosing the Elysium Resort & Spa for your stay and hope to have the pleasure to welcome you back in our resort in the not so distant future.
