We only stayed one night, would have loved to stay longer. The cottage was warm and welcoming, the decor was very tasteful and we were so comfortable. The breakfast supplied exceeded our expectations. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We stayed in the Railway Cottage, my husband, 2 sons and myself. We were visiting family nearby and this was the perfect place.
The cottage is lovely, light and airy with plenty of room. Great kitchen, bathroom, lovely large double bedroom with lots of storage and a really beautiful lounge/dinner area.
When we arrived Cathy had already put two beds in the lounge area for the boys but there was still plenty of room (and even a niffty little curtain that pulled across to screen them).
Cathy had provided us with everything we could possible need from supplies in the kitchen for the necessary cuppa when we arrived along with a full fridge of goodies, to toiletries in the bathroom.
We only needed to stay for one night but will def be back. Perfect solution when traveling with children and Cathy was so helpful.

My whole family stayed in these cottages before my daughter's wedding at nearby Cooling Castle Barn. The cottages are perfect!! We hired the two storey cottage for the groomsmen and the Railway Cottage for the bride, myself and the bridesmaids. It reall was the most wonderful place to stay before a wedding and I would thoroughly recommend this to any bride marrying nearby. Thank you for everything , we have just booked to spend a relaxing weekend in November, it is the perfect retreat!

Me and my wife had a lovely weekend here. We stayed in the Railway cottage, and it was fabulous. We were looked after from the moment we made the reservation, until the moment we left the cottage. It was my wifes birthday, and she was very happy when we entered the cottage, and there was party ballons and fresh fruit and flowers ( Thank you so much ). The breakfast, self catering, was delicious, with fresh organic sausages and eggs. Totally recommended. Inside the cottage, everything was spot on, and it felt really comfortable. We didnt spend time outside, but there is a beautifull garden, and if the weather is nice, you can even sit on the terrace and enjoy the sunshine. We was very happy, and we hope to come back soon. Thank you very much.
