Stayed 2 nights during the Electronica fair. The hotel is not too far from the Messe so it was a convenient place. The price was very high (but this is standard practice during large business conventions), however the room was very much like a low cost motel. Very small bed, a supersmall blanket as the only thing to keep warm (I'm 6'1" and my feet would come out at the bottom). The worse is that the room stunk. Not just a little bit. It really smelled like mold had been growing in there like crazy. When I went down to the reception to try to have them change the room for me, the receptionist barely could understand me and finally came back mentioning that housekeeping said there was no bad smell issue. Really terrible service.

This hotel was booked for about 20 people in my company based on what we saw on the web site...to quote "Welcome to the München-Dornach, a 4 star hotel located directly at the new fairgrounds." Now if you call 3.5km from the fairgrounds "directly", then you will also appreciate what they mean by four stars. Buses and taxis had to be used.
The hotel is located in a business park, with no nearby shops. Riem S Bahn is AT LEAST 10 mins walk away.The hotel feels like a concrete box, with carpeting being carpet tiles, no pictures on the walls etc.
We checked in on Sunday night - the only thing we could get to eat was a tired looking buffet for Euro18...at 9pm most of the food was gone and the staff looked like they were ready to go home.Disgraceful for a so-called 4 start hotel.
Breakfasts at Euro 20 were barely passable. Had a tepid shower on Tuesday morning when there was not enough hot water. My wife ordered room service, with a choice of three items!!!
The final insult was being charged Euro 32 for three telephone calls we had not made.

My company will never use this Group again.

Very clean hotel, nice staff and rooms are nice and clean, no good if you are on holiday though and want to go in and out of munich as it aint close !

Also costs around 55 euros in a cab from the airport

This hotel is a standard business orientated affair, situated on the S2 S-Bahn line about 20minutes out of Munich. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Riem station.

I somehow got a disabled room, but it was all fine, functional and clean. The staff were helpful and a luggage room was available.
