A group of 4 of us stayed a wk end in this hotel and it was lovely for the complete stay. Staff was very helpful and even opened a lounge for us to sit in while we were having a quite drink because the bar was full and lots going on in the bar. The food and service was very good. The reception staff set the tone for our stay; they were so helpful and informative. I like to read and there was lots of current newspapers to choose from (that is rare enough now). The hotel was full and extremely busy the weekend we were there. The majority were families with young children, yet all seemed to run so smoothly.

I would definitely recommend this hotel for families or groups.

Firstly I would like to say the decor of hotel is lovely, the reception staff were very helpful and cheery. Our room was very nice few wear and tear marks on paint work and a small mark on head board! Great bathroom with separate shower from bath. Had dinner in restaurant service was slow food was ok not really 4 star. But still a enjoyable meal. O felt restaurant was missing atmosphere as it was valentines weekend they could of at least played some music! The bar was under staffed glasses everywhere and no toilet paper in loo! But over all a good experience of hotel just with a few minor tweaks

Stayed in this hotel April 2011 with my husband and 2 yr old daughter. Loved it!! Very comfy rooms lovely and airy not stuffy with high ceilings.

Central location in the outskirts of charleville town. Close to Limerick and cork city for shopping!! (nearer to Limerick). childrens playground in charleville town nice for the kids.

Will definitely return to this hotel

My partner and I stumbled across The Charleville Park Hotel, we had no reservations made but enquired at reception for a double room, we were greeted by a lovely lady on reception. We could see they were very busy with a wedding arriving, but she did not rush us and made lots of small talk with us. Our room was nicely decorated, clean, spacious with all mod cons! Later the evening we had a drink in the bar, which I couldn't fault the young bar was friendly, told us to take a seat and brought our drinks down to us! With the hotel hosting a wedding, we expected the hotel to be noisy at night, but this was not a case. Breakfast was a buffet a wide selection of fruits, yogurts, breads, juices on the cold buffet and all the traditional Irish breakfast items on the hot buffet.

My only issue was the radiator wasn't working in the bedroom. I contacted reception and a lady came up with a portable heater but this wasnt working either. It wasn't a major problem for us as it wasn't a cold night and we were out for most the evening.

Charleville Park keep up the good work, your a modern hotel with a traditional Irish welcome.
