Stayed at this hotel 28th Aug - 1st september and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Hotel is spacios and very clean and all the reception staff and house keepers are very friendly and are there to answer all your questions. On arrival you are presented with a glass of champagne at reception and are asked frequently if you would like some more whenever you are around reception!

On friday the 31st august we were trying to find a particular restaurant and the house keeper done everything to find out the information for us and i think was ready to drive us there herself! - thats how helpfull all the staff are.

If you are going to port aventura its a good 30 min walk and at least a 45 minute walk to salou. There is a villa seca train station around a 5 minute walk from the hotel which is the Barcelona - reus/valencia line.

Breakfasts are good - Eggs/bacon/sausage/omlettes/bread/jams/juices/youghurts and a good selection of cakes and all very clean and well presented.

The only down side is the size of the gym. There appears to be 2 items of aparatus from the qvc shopping channel and one small exercise bike and a mirror - thats it - all in a very close space so this could be improved with better equipment. Indoor pool and sauna are excellent and outside pool and gardens are very clean and even though the hotel was full when we were there there were only 4 used sun loungers and around 25 sunloungers free so all in all very quiet.

If you are wanting to spend all your time in salou then it will cost you a fortune in taxi fares - around 13 euros one way to salou and the bus leaves every hour to salou but stops at 10pm we think ( The number 55).

If you are planning to visit port aventura then this is a great hotel - all in all a very clean spacious friendly hotel.

This hotel is a mediocre 4*. The location isn't great (I wouldn't stay there again because of this- its very quiet with not much to see around it you'd be best to stay at Salou or Cambrills) and the staff are not very friendly. I always expect at a 4* hotel to have complimentary towels for the pool, we were told to use the ones from our room or pay 2 euros, which to me is just petty. It also costs 8 euros per day to park in the hotel car park which is a little steep when you can park on the road outside for free. Apart from that the room was clean and comfortable and the indoor pool was lovely (although you can't swim lengths it is just a relaxation pool). All in all it was an ok stay but could have been an awful lot better if the staff had had a more helpful attitude.
