Suggestions for casual Mother's Day Brunch or Lunch?

We'll be in Pacific Grove that morning, checking out of our hotel, and wanted some suggestions for where to eat brunch or lunch. Should be on the casual side and kid-friendly (ages 5, 8, & 9). We'll be driving back towards S.F. area. Any suggestions where we should look? Thanks!

There's a place we like to eat at the Monterey Plaza Hotel called Schooner's Bistro, they have outdoor seating which is nice, the ambiance is casual and the views and food very good, they have kid's menus available.

Tarpey's Roadhouse is another consideration in Monterey but you won't have the views here, food is great at Tarpey's, also. Have fun! :)

Just a suggestion. You might want to have reservations, even for a casual place, if they take them. It's going to be a busy morning for restaurants.

We like the sandbar and grill on wharf #2 in Monterey. http://www.sandbarandgrill.com/index.html

Its casual, I've taken my kids there when they were little. Its right on the water, but its more locals rather than the tourist crowd on the wharf. Parking is usually easy-right on the wharf (I've always gotten a spot right on the pier) and prices are better than the main wharf.

The Fishwife is wonderful if you like seafood and pasta.

The Fishwife has very good seafood, the ambiance is colorful and funky that would appeal to kids. We loved the crab tostaditos here. It is located near the entrance to the 17 Mile Drive. :)

The Duck Club Grill at the Monterey Plaza on Cannery Row offers a great Mother's Day Brunch. They have ocean views and an extensive menu. Children under 6 are free. You can view the entire menu by visiting their website and going to the Dining page. I highly recommend it.
