I would likely never recover from thinking I won 42 million dollars and ending out with nothing.

Ouch! :(
It sounded fishy, gaming commission is investing. She should sue.
I'll never understand how casinos get away with this kind of thing.
What penny machine pays $42M?
She got a free breakfast.
and a free room for the night... Just saw the story on GMA I can't believe they still get away with crap like this.
I haven't seen any coverage if this by a gaming knowledgeable media outlet yet so they stories out there don't have any details that are useful. However, in the last several cases, the jackpots were obvious malfunctions - dollar awards that exceed the top payout possible for non-winning spins - yet the gamblers ran to the media and a lawyers office anyway. I will wait and see what LVA or Casino City Times have to say before I decide to get worked up over this.
Dollar Megabucks doesn't even get that high. It's probably a progressive
machine and therefore the machines owners not the Casinos would be liable to paying the jackpot. The "winner" won't get much
I believe that all machines have a disclaimer posted on them that states that malfunctioning machines are not responsible for pay-offs. When any very large jackpot is hit, the machine is closed and actually dismantled by the machine manufacturers with the gaming commission supervising to look for malfuntions. Most times the wins are legit, but other times the machines do malfuntion.
Been on our news a number of times, did not happen in LV, what penny machine pays out 42 mill? I asked the same question.
Her chances of collecting are nil.
Oh No!
Thats such bad luck - I think I would've had a heart attack if I'd "won"
