I presume you mean Continental Airlines.. They're ok, no better no worse than any of the US carriers. I haven't used them from Bristol but have flown on them a few times to and from various US points.
They get you from A to B and back again which is about all you expect from most airlines these days.
They are currently my favourite airline!!
We do Birmingham to either Orlando, Tampa or Fort Myers, via Newark.
Modern aircraft, seat back tv's and good service.
Also, much quicker to get off when you land as far less people than on a jumbo flight!!
I've used United lately because of its routes to east Asia, but Continental (which is based in Houston, Texas) has been a notably competent airline.
I've ducked using Continental from Orlando to Gatwick only because I've flown in winter when direct flights on BA are cheap and you avoid the prospect of bad weather at Newark.
Continental were very proffesional and effeciant when i used them from glasgow to newark to orlando. The staff dont make small talk but they feed you plenty and give you loads of fluids, just dont expect a friendly face, as they are very distant from conversation and smiles, lol
we have flew with them from shannon- newark- orlando free food drink great with the kids flying with them next years funkey
Have flown with them from Bristol-Newark-Orlando & just got back from a trip with them from Manchester-Newark-Orlando. A very efficient airline with a modern fleet. They used the smaller aircraft (757/300 & 757/200 i think) with a 3/3 configuration so as said before was quicker getting off. They are a partner airline of Virgin so you get your Virgin airmiles also. One thing to watch for --- the flights from Newark to Orlando gets booked up quite quickly so book well in advance for a short wait time or you could end up waiting hours.

We flew with them from Edinburgh. We thought the service was very good, meals nice and we didn't feel to cramped. The seat back TV's were great and had a god choice of films, programmes and games.
However on the way back they had randomly assigned the seats which was crazy! For example i was to sit beside a man and 2 rows back my OH was to sit with the same mans wife! There were children not with their parents and even people who had already reserved seats and specifically asked to sit with there child (e.g for medical reasons) werent together! It was a huge mess. Obviously lots of people swapped around but that then caused problems when meals came etc.
Continental is my airline of choice... always professional. Been a few years since I flew regularly with them but they have a good track record. Will be flying down on Continental in just 3 weeks.
