I couldn't find a listing under hotels, so I'll post my review here:
Raj Resorts (Pushkar Tents) – I booked my trip through Cox and Kings and this was their included accommodation in the itinerary. We had a triple room here for 1 night in November; the day before the fair officially started. We arrived just before lunch time, so it was quite hot. The tents don’t have AC but they will set-up a fan if you ask. They have a camel cart that is used to deliver the luggage which was pretty fun to see. The resort is vegetarian but they had a lot of options available at each meal. The crispy jalebis are tasty for dessert. Since the fair had not officially started there were maybe only 12-15 other guests. They have the capacity for many more. The evening entertainment was quite elaborate with a tightrope walker, musicians, a stilt walker, puppet show and dancers. If you go during the fair time I would recommend staying 2nights (get in in the afternoon and then explore the fair in the evening and then have another day to wander and explore the festivities and the lake area).
The materials they provided when we arrived said that it would get cold in the evening. I didn’t really believe it since it was pretty hot during the day, but it really did cool down quite a bit, so it was good that there were a couple layers of blankets on the bed. The resort has hot water upon request for showers. It’s a bucket bath. I skipped it since we were only there for 1 night, but my friend used it and said it was fine. They have lockers at the front desk to store any valuables that you don’t want to keep in the room. The area did seem pretty secure since they had some security guards roaming around.
