I sincerely hope nobody on here has been effected with the flight delays due to the volcano eruption.
But best to be safe than sorry, but if it was me and was due to fly out in the next couple of days, i would be devastated.

Edited: 16 April 2010, 16:25What about the people due to come back from Turkey, should we be happy or sad for them?
We are due to fly out next Thursday. Keeping fingers crossed
It is sad for all,
i'd be glad to stay for an extra day or to in turkey, aslong as the hotel's were/are willing to put people up
I know a few uk only flights have been allowed to fly this evening but they are to the north
Edited: 16 April 2010, 23:40We're flying out from Glasgow to Gumbet in 3 weeks!
Do you think flights be be back to normal by then?
Well i hope so, just for you.
I wouldn't be that bothered if we get stranded whilst out in resort, but for all those poor people who were due to fly out from the uk you would be totally gutted.
Well we're due to fly out a week tomorrow but are trying not to get our hopes up too much. We're lucky though as we were flying out for 10 weeks so we can always fly out whenever the flights are back on. It's worse for those who have leave booked from work, etc.

Hi
We are in Gumbet for another 8days and no we aren't bothered if we are stranded but then we are retired. We have spoken to people who are eager to get home because they are starting new jobs, have their own business and have promised people they will be there today. A group of students who have used up their budget and having to watch every penny.
We have just spoken a group of people who are suppose to fly out tonight and have been taken to a AI hotel in Bodrum by Thomas Cook. Thomas Cook have done this for the past few days and five stars for Thomas Cook, well done.
The Magnific hotel has stopped people ringing their tour operators in Turkey and have started charging for the calls and to add insult to injury a guest has had a mobile phone and camera stolen and are sure they know who it is.
So off to the beach!!
Regards
