Hello there In recent weeks a number of companies who operated Quad bikes into the Eastern Desert lost there licenses from the Egyptian Local Governary, so you may well find that you are not using Quad bikes but Sand Buggies instead, you should check closer to you holiday with your excursion provider.

It should be noted however the Sand Buggies are just as good and far safer, I always advise people to check there holiday insurance as well as in many cases this is one sport and excursion that is exempt from most insurances, as there is still some risk in traveling across the Eastern Desert, although there are very few accidents they do happen and you would well advised to make sure you are totally covered by your insurance.

Mmm thanks for that information ,, ime def making sure ime covered on insurance , its one place I make sure is up to scratch ,, but this keeps me in the picture so ime not caught out .
