Hi!

I am going to be in Brazil for 6 weeks from early Feb next year. I am spending 3 of those weeks with a friend. We are heading to Bonito / the Pantanal, Salvador (for carnival) and Lencois, and have 3 days booked in Rio, but don't have much planned beyond that. Does anyone have any suggestions of places to go to, or group tours I can do when I am on my own for the last 3 weeks (as I would prefer not to travel on my own during that time)? I am thinking of heading back to Rio and spending a bit more time there, as well as maybe doing a cruise from Rio to Paraty. However, I would like to see and experience more than just beaches if possible.

I have been to the Amazon out of Peru, as well as Tortuguero in Costa Rica and am not sure if I want to do it all again out of Manaus (particularly as we are also going to the Pantanal), unless the experience will be very different.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
