The official opening date is in November 2009. The building work is progressing.

is this place not even open yet? how far would it be away from the beach?

Hello Lisaaa, RIU Tikida Palmeraie is a new hotel that is being built in Marrakech. It is a 3 hour drive to the beach at Essaouira or 4 hours to the beach at Agadir.

Are you sure RIU Tikida Palmeraie is the correct hotel name? There are a number of Tikida hotels in Morocco. Some of which are on the beach front in Agadir.

Whats the progress on this hotel supposed to be going end November 2009

we have booked for xmas and new year.when we booked were nt told it wasnt built!Any news on progress would be welcome.

we have booked a holiday there on the 4th of december 09 does any one know if it will be finished

poke to thomsons a couple of weeks ago she reckoned guests were actually in there but there was stil some biulding work going on.tried to go on line and book a room for October but that wasnt possilble so I don't know what guests Thomsons are on about.She also said that she had spoken to someone in resort and the hotel is looking fab shouldn't be any problems in November.

We booked to go for Christmas and New Year 09 yesterday (3 October 09) on the basis of speaking with someone in a Thomson holiday shop who checked with Thomson Headquarters while we were there. HQ confirmed that the hotel is complete and building work has finished there. We can only wait and see now..... JBT, Glamorgan
