I intend to visit Krakow next year and would like to travel to Łambinowice (formerly Lamsdorf) to visit the site of the P.O.W. camp, Stalag VIIIb.
Can anyone recommend the best way to hire a driver/guide to do this?

Łambinowice is about 2.5-3 hours from Krakow. It can be a half-day trip. Any tourist agency in Krakow can arrange a guide & car for you. Since the trip is scheduled for next year, you have lotsa time to email the agencies to give you an idea of the prices.
