We booked a tour with Malta Travelnet. The guides were absolutely excellent and Valetta is not only a beautiful city but the whole island is filled with historic and prehistoric treasures.

Try to book a visit to the Hypogeum, a series of underground temples constructed before Stonehenge and before the pyramids. Absolutely stunning and looks as though they were constructed last week. Very limited access. Book a time way ahead. Maximum 10 per tour and 80 per day. Chris, at Malta Travelnet arranged it all for us. Contact Chris at info@maltatravelnet.com.

when in Malta, it is a must to visit the little island of Gozo which is just 25 minutes by ferry.

You can book a wonderful jeep tour seeing the whole island driven by very nice driver who can give you all the information about the island and its people.
