I've just realised that there will be a full moon April 6th, our last night in Jamaica and that is the night that the Jewel puts on dinner on the pier. Has anyone experienced this during a full moom? I imagine it will be fantastic!

I have not experienced it right at Full Moon but we did have it one time about 2 days prior to the full moon and it was really beautiful the way the light twinkled on the water surrounding us.
The dinner itself is EXCELLENT.
Blessings and respect to you.
Steve
We scheduled it just for you Springtime

I have read somewhere that it's a set menu (to help with serving times, etc) but I was wondering how set it is..for example, would pork be served to someone who doesn't eat it? Etc..Or would you have to skip that course? Are there any choices?
Scott, that's what I call Customer Service!!!
By the way, I think its beyond great customer service that he would make these arrangements and that he listens to his guests! One of the main reasons we chose this place!!!
If you have any allergies or items that you do not eat we can get you an alternatived. To have a choice menu for 400 plus people would be a disaster for service. it is already 6 courses so it is usually enogh for most.
If you did not want to experience that dinner the Platinum Restaurant, Court Jester's Pizza, Aquamarina Grill and limited seating at Jade Samurai is open.
I hope that helps.

Very understandable Scott! It would be hard to manage with a choice menu. Agreed.
We did want to experience it as it would be on Friday, which will be the last night of our stay. I fiqured it would be a nice way to end a vacation.
Thanks !
It's on our last night as well Blue and I was thinking the same thing, what a nice way to end the vacation!
Just returned from the Jewel yesterday so the dinner on the pier was our last night and that made it special. We were traveling with another couple and we had a great time, as everyone else did. There is a reception just before the dinner that was nice and most attended.
hi there - do we need to reserve our spots for the dinner on the Pier or do we just show up and they have room for everyone? Also at what time does the dinner start? Thanks and sorry for all of the questions, I'm a curious kinda gal :)
