Ocho Rios Forum: Benefit of attending Sandals Reunion Week?

I ditto TullyNY comments. I never thought I would go to a RW but did by chance around 5 years ago. Now, we go back just for RW and we have gone to SGR for 14 years. The special events for returning guests off the resort, special dinner, little gifts, etc. We are booked already for April 2012 and so looking forward to being with our Sandals family that goes the same time that we have become good friends with.

Thank you for your in-put. We booked our trip yesterday before I saw both of your replies. We will get to see the beginning of reunion week but will be leaving the 10th. Hopefully the have something the first night so we can get a taste ; ). Maybe we will bump into you!

Out of curiosity when is reunion week

Reunion week is always the Monday thru Friday following Easter. Obviously it changes from year to year as does Easter.

We booked for two weeks - April 4 to April 18 2012. csmith, there is a Fans of Sandals Grande Riveria Page (formerly Grande Ocho Rios) on Facebook. There are two sites actually so check them out. The one with the floatie as the profile pictures has several people that have gone to this resort or looking to go.

They also did an extra reunion week this year in the fall, not sure what the dates were and if they will do so again next year, it was the 30th anniversary this year, so it may have been a special thing, we missed it by about a week or so this time!

Hello Lauriek, we have been to Reunion week in Ocho for the past three years and are going again this year. We too are planning on being there from the 4th to the 18th. My wife and I can't wait!!
