  "We spent a week in Taormina, which is so beautiful. We took the bus to Castelmola and came across Bocciola at lunch time. It is a perfect place to get away from the huge tourist crowds in Taormina. We ordered a whole beautifully fresh sea bass, which Carlo told us he would have grilled with herbs..." and he would fillet and serve. Which he did with beautifully grilled vegetables. It was so delicious and perfectly cooked that we decided to come back some night for dinner. The bus ride from Taormina is only 12 min. We called ahead and made a reservation and Carlo had the perfect table reserved for us on a balcony. We started with homemade cannoli which was light and so flavorful and then again we had beautifully prepared whole fish with several sides. This restaurant and the setting that its in is magical.
