From the outside it does not look like much, even first impression on the inside is a little different with all the tables being mismatched. At first that might seem like a negative but did give this place some character. After si..."tting down for a few minutes it was clear that this place has a set of regulars that are well known by the staff. That is always a good sign, if locals will come to a place on a regular basis they must do something right. One of the things they do right is have a great bartender/server. He was busy behind the bar and when he got over to our table apologized for the short wait which really was a short wait. He also talked about our menu choices which was helpful. The food was nice standard bar food. My eye was drawn right a way to the Juicy Lucy.   "We went to the Vintage for our daughter's graduation from UW-Madison. The staff was very accomodating and did a wonderful job. We had a taco buffet and Slider buffet. Excellent food and excellent service!"
