  "One of the guests at a B&B we were staying at in Monticello mentioned a friend of his had 'the best steak dinner he had ever eaten' at a steakhouse near Monticello. We learned it was the Line Camp Steakhouse. The steakhouse is located 7-8 miles north of Monticello and the sign from the road give..."s no clue of the excellent meals that are served. Both inside and out the decor is western, ranging from hunting trophies to farm implements to historical artifacts. We were greeted by Bob, the proprietor, who gave us a choice of two tables to sit at. Once seated, he lit an oil lamp on our table to "make things romantic."
