  "I can't say enough good things about the food at this restaurant. My husband and I ordered the grilled chicken breast with rice and vegetables and it was phenomenal. The chicken was so moist and delicious. The vegetables were an experience all their own. The bartender and waitress were wonderful. ..." On the other hand, the hostess was snotty and made us feel like we weren't good enough to eat at this restuarant. Initially she told us there would be a 45 minute wait. I guess she hoped it would be a deterrent. Nevertheless, we stayed and our table was ready in 10 minutes. My daughter quipped, "I don't think we're 'blond' enough to eat here." The meal and the service we received from our bartender and waitress made it all worthwhile, and we will return. I highly recommend this restaurant. Just ignore the hostess. " More >

  "I visit Port Aransas at least a dozen times a year, maybe more. I try to eat at San Juan every time. Their lengua tacos are fabulous! I also love the pastor. The staff are great and the service is always fast and good. When you get done, be sure to get a "paletta", which is a Mexican ice cream bar. ..."The brand they carry is the best!
