I explained that was not what happened and it seemed to go unnoticed (not in a rude way, just unnoticed). We did end up waiting about 20 mins which was not a big deal since we weren't staving or anything but I thought a complimentary glass of wine or something would have been a nice offering considering it was not my mix up or maybe they still think it was...hmmm.. Anyway, we were seated and a nice waiter served us. Nothing too special to write about with the atmosphere.   "There is a reason the parking lot is always full. Great food, all home cooked, not frozen or packaged. We got the chicken fried steak with sides. The onion rings were fantastic, and a generous portion (not just a few rings, as others provide). Everything was very hot and fresh including rolls. Even ..."the gravy seemed homemade. In fact, the waitress tried (unsuccessfully on my part) to get me to try a "skillet gravy" on the CFS. 1/2 way through the meal, she brought out a bown of this gravy to try anyway! I read reviews about the buffet...I would never order a buffet in a place that has great home cooking. It defeats the purpose. Order from the menu - you will not be disappointed. " More >
