  "We were going through Brenham and stopped by here. It's on a neat square with lots of little shops. 5 in our group all enjoyed their meal. I had the Texas Monte Cristo and it was yummy!!   "It takes you back in time, very cute, high ceilings, creaking wood floors. The staff was very nice and attentive. The food was very very good. Crunchy chicken fried steak, hot, not greasy.   "So glad that we stopped to try this resturant! On a business trip back from Austin, we decided to stop for lunch.... and we are so glad that we did! EXCELLENT FOOD!!! EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!
