"I have only gone to Jimmy Casey's twice, my mistake. This place is a hidden gem of high quality staff, yummy comfort style food, and laid back atmosphere. It is a little out of our way but not bad, exit 7 off 90 East, take a right (Washington St) and keep going until you see it on the right. From do..."wntown Albany only 10 minutes. I can't say enough about the almond dill chicken. I am not one to order chicken when I go out to eat, ever. I was told by my wife to order this dish or regret it. I did, it is so friggin good! I don't think I will ever order anything else there.I am sure it is all awesome based on what I saw others getting with me. They have a great wine list and they don't rip you off! I saw wines on that list that are $6+ more per bottle at other Albany restaurants. In fact nothing on the menu is a rip off and the plates are mounded with food. "Dropped in on a whim and glad we did. Classic diner food that tilts Greek is served by a friendly staff at great prices. Everyone here seems to be a regular (a great sign) so the staff knew and greeted everyone by their first name. Great portions at great prices and everything was excellent but t..."ry the grilled Reuben or the hummus / Kalamata olive wrap. It's a short detour off I-87 and worth it.

"My husband and I dined here on a Friday night. The restaurant and bar are separate and the dining room is not very big. Each member of the staff we interacted with we're extremely pleasant and helpful. After we were seated we were given the specials and our drink orders were taken by someone other ..."than our waitress. I very much liked that the staff worked very effectively as a team so we were always taken care of. Each table also received a basket of butter crackers with a cream cheese spread which were addicting. I ordered the chicken Marsala and my husband got the steak and scallops. Each dinner comes with salad, and the house dill dressing was delicious! My chicken dish was ok, but my brother makes the best chicken Marsala and I'm always disappointed. I found the dish to be bland and needed salt. My husband was very happy with his dish and his twice baked potato. For dessert we chose the key lime pie and pumpkin cheesecake. Both were delicious! Overall, we really enjoyed Teagan'...
