  "Attended Sport Island for a catered function in the upstairs room. Attentive staff, great food. Even stopped by the bar for a drink on the way out. Must be a riot in the summer time. Big deck, fantastic lake views, even a beach. I'm coming back to this little Adirondack gem."

  "I live on Sacandaga lake and do frequent this place a lot in the summer. It is not pretty...but it is a summer only adirondack dive. I really enjoy the food and drinks and the view is amazing."

  "The food here is excellent. It is in the middle of nowhere, but it is a beautiful trip to get there. The place has been redone and is charming. It is on the river on route 30. The staff is very friendly."
