  "am very familiar with 1770 house and have gone there quite often. very expensive but it provides the opportunity to sit and talk with others- it's relatively quiet compared to other hamptons restaurants. the terrific dish there is the steak with fried onion rings over a bed of spinach. it's $44. ..."but is really good. the soup is generally better than the woefully overpriced other appetizers. the oysters are mediocre at best with a very ordinary dressing.   "They're back!"
  "Smokin' Wolf is back for 2014, and moved their location a few hundred feet west of their old location. I doubt that they will be open for Memorial Day weekend as they didn't look ready when I passed by last night. I hope they went back to their "old Turntle Crossing menu""
