"While the Lexx is typically not open for breakfast or brunch, Mother's Day is a special occasion with a special menu. We chose to eat a series of appetizers such as cheddar pops and cucumber wrapped crab stuffing. The cheddar pops are more like a popover with a hint of cheddar sweetened with maple..." syrup with a tang of pepper mixed in. It was surprisingly good (especially the pepper). I would have never guessed that combination would have worked but would go back just for that dish. The service was great although I was having difficultly getting them to keep our cream cup full (for our coffee). Given the way my wife and I like to prepare our coffee, I had asked them for more cream but they kept delivering it in small vials that was not sufficient for one person much less the both of us. However, that did not take away from having a great time.

"For my Chinese/Caucasian mixed family this is now by far our favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. The basic square but airy and pleasant restaurant on the Lexington/Arlington border is under new management over the past year. What a refreshing upgrade. Service is consistently friendly and attent..."ive. The menu is varied including an ample number of spicy and non-spicy, meat and vegetarian, authentic and more Western-oriented entrees to satisfy a broad range of tastes and dietary interests. The items we've sampled have been unfailingly flavorful, fresh, not greasy and reasonably priced. We find ourselves returning at least several times a month and always leaving contented and looking forward to our next visit. The perfect local restaurant for a delicious Chinese meal!
