"This was our first visit to Pappas; we weren't certain what to expect. The decor is a little outdated, booths could use updating, but we weren't there to look at the place so it really didn't matter.
The menu has a good variety of items - seafood, meat, pasta, salads - and everything was priced ..."reasonably.
We shared a crab pretzel appetizer; very tasty and perfect size to share. My husband had a stuffed orange roughy with french fries, I had the seafood fra diablo; both entrees came with a salad. All the food was outstanding! Everything had great flavor; the fra diablo was the spicest I've ever had - it was wonderful! Perfect might not be strong enough to describe the french fries - they were golden brown, crisp, hot, and were obviously cooked in fresh oil.
Highly recommend Pappas. I know we will be back!

"We revisited this restaurant after a few years absence, I had the Greek omelet which was filled with spinach and artichokes. The fruit was fresh and chilled. Even the rye toast was great. My husband had the oyster Benedict with a mustard sauce. It was yummy. The service was attentive but not i..."ntrusive. We will return.

I think we were charged $9. But it was GOOD - and I don't typically like guacamole - so if it's in your budget, I do recommend getting it. Plus it's fun to watch him make it right there at your table.
All 5 of us were happy with our menu choices. I ordered "La Favorita" (One chicken quesadilla, one cheese enchilada and Spanish rice; $8.99) and it was delicious. The enchilada was RICH (smothered in cheese). The quesadilla, unfortunately, was a little soggy on the bottom, but still very good. I can't remember what the rest of the group ordered, but they all had complimentary things to say about their food.
Two of us split...
