The only thing negative I can say about the place is the portions are very inconsistent, we ate at the Hob Nob almost every night we were in town visiting because of the strawberry short cake, the food is very good and the service from 2 specific server..."s was the best but each time we eat there we ordered the same thing, bacon cheeseburgers and fries which was very good but the amount of fries and bacon on the burger was different each time, not enough of either most times.. Very good home made ranch dressing and mustard that is really good..We will defiantly be back.. " More >

  "While attending a Vietnam Vet reunion in the Nashville area my wife and I had the opportunity to have breakfast and lunch at Hob Nob. The building is old and floors uneven but the food and the service was excellent. I would recommend this quaint restaurant to anyone visiting Nashville area"

  "The restaurant provides good comfort food -- meatloaf, potatoes, fried items, etc. Nothing we ordered was outstanding, but everything was fine. Although...one of their specialty items (fried pork tenderloin sandwich) was little too heavily breaded for our tastes."
