"With our son attending EIU, we visit Charleston quite often, and Pagliai's is our stopping place for a great pizza at a pretty decent price. The breadsticks are the best we've had at any pizza joint, and the garlic dip is a nice addition. However, you really don't need any dip to enjoy these chees..."y wonders! We always order the thin crust house specialty pizza and have not been disappointed. I will say that either the sausage is salty or the chef adds salt to the pizza. But, obviously, it hasn't been enough to deter us from eating there! (If you are traveling, I would suggest keeping some bottled water in your vehicle because you will need it for the next few hours to quench your thirst from the saltiness.) That's probably the reason for me giving it four stars instead of five. Also, this place is always hopping, resulting in your soft drinks not being refilled as often as needed, but the waitresses are always very pleasant and nice, which makes you not want to complain about it....

"Always busy, good food, friendly service, full Italian menu--don't expect anything else but that. If they make a mistake on your pizza, they make it right with no complaints."
