  "My wife and visited Geralds Pig & Shrimp this weekend on our way to Tybee beach FROM Savannah. I wanted to stop and try their shrimp based on the great reviews I had read on TA. MAN...the reviews were SPOT ON ! This is absolutely the best fried shrimp I have ever tasted anywhere !!! I could eat ..."here every day. It was SO FRESH and had just a light bread coating which didn't over power the sweet taste of the shrimp. Even my wife (who isn't a big shrimp fan) could not get over how great they tasted. Service was great and all of the employees were very nice and friendly. Even chatted with Gerald as he made his rounds talking to all of his customers. We had the shrimp & pulled pork BBQ. The BBQ was also very good. We didn't care to much for the slaw, but with the shrimp...it didn't even matter. If you are in Tybee Island, don't leave before stopping to try out the shrimp.
