  "We spent the sixth night of a weeklong tour of northern New Mexico and southern Colorado in tiny, beautiful Ouray, and had dinner at Buen Tiempo. We'd eaten here before, but it had been several years. Buen Tiempo IS a good time. We started with a couple of "Perfecta" margaritas, and they were exc..."ellent, as was the salsa served with the ubiquitous complimentary chips. When we inquired about the dollar bills tacked to the ceiling, our server explained that they would be donated to charity at the end of the year, and promised to explain how they got there ...for $1. (Now we know the secret.) I had the Carne Asada Tacos, which were very good, indeed... very flavorful, with just the right amount of cilantro. Caron had the Camarones ("large, spicy chile-grilled shrimp topped with a honey pineapple chipotle sauce") which were served over rice with black beans, pico de gallo and tortillas.   "I don't normally review places we visit for lunch, but this is the exception to that rule. Caron and I dropped in for lunch after a nice, three-hour hike up the Portland Trail and back down the Cascade Falls Trail. The place has a nice, casual contemporary vibe. And the service was good, although..." the staff on-hand seemed a bit stretched by the larger groups that eventually followed us in. But let me cut to the chase. This place has the best burger I've eaten in a long, long time. I think it was the combination of really fresh beef and some carefully-chosen seasonings, along with accurate preparation to-order.
