The decor is a bit dated, but that is pretty common in the area. A bit ironic given the splendor of Hearst Castle. But it is clean and comf..."ortable. The biggest sticking point by far is the service. Maybe the tourists leave lousy tips making it hard to find quality staff, but we ate early and with a sparse crowd yet simple requests seemes to take a bit long. One gal who refills water glasses needs a job far away from humans. She was there both nights and we thanked her every time she filled our glasses. We got a grunt in response. It was almost humorous. I did hear her speak to other staff so she is not mute. Oh well. In any event, it was still worth the visit both times. The seafood medley was delightful.
