"We had put a long day in at the wineries and skipped lunch. We decided to grab an early dinner at the Goose and Gander and enjoyed it thoroughly. They had a great cocktail list, friendly service, and lots of interesting appetizers and entrees. I fell in love with their mashed English spring peas...." Really comfortable space. Soft lighting. Good energy. Be sure to check out the downstairs bar.

"Friends of ours recommended Press for our visit to Napa and we were definitely not disappointed! The service was excellent; the server was attentive but not intruding and she made excellent recommendations off of the menu. Since we had never been there everything sounded good, but she gave us her h..."onest opinion on some of the best items on the menu. she also explained the differences between the USDA Prime and Wagyu beef and expanded on how the cuts would taste and which would have more or less fat etc. I ended up ordered the USDA Prime Flat Iron and my husband the Kurobuta Pork Chop. We also shared the Truffle Mac and Cheese and the Loaded Mini Baked Potatoes. Both of the side dishes were suggestions from the server and we were glad we listened to her! The loaded baked potatoes had scallions, sour cream, sharp cheddar and garlic on them and were made with a combination of red, purple and yuk...

We both ordered the bacon cheeseburger and when the food came up I could not believe how big the burger was! It was a 1/2 lb. patty with crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, tomato and pickles and their special sauce (which tasted a bit similar to the McDonald's Big Mac sauce only better). We also did an order of the fries and the veggie sticks (carrots and cucumbers with a side of their homemade buttermilk ranch). Everything we ordered was great and I could not believe we were eating at a little picnic table by the side of the road. Luckily when we visited the...
