"The restaurant has a big deck among the trees and a smaller indoor eating area. Outdoor seating is really pleasant, umbrellas keep the sun off when necessary, the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. Cafe Aroma seems always to be very busy, is really popular with both locals and visitors. We arrived ..."before the 5 pm start of dinner service, were seated and handed menus, and we were brought the drinks we ordered. We had lunch here last year and were really impressed by the depth of the lunch menu. The appetizers on the dinner menu were fairly wide ranging, but we thought that the entrees were quite limited, accenting various pasta preparations at the expense of meat, fish, or fowl. We each ordered a salad and they were all very good, especially the citrus and avocado salad of the day. "This is a charming little place. We were the only ones there because it was between the lunch and dinner hours. Mariah greeted us and served us. We had the tastiest bruschetta ever. All the flavors were perfectly in balance. Since she wasn't busy, Mariah told us all about her dream to bring Ita..."ly to the American palate by importing all her ingredients from Italy. She was especially proud of the tomatoes she imports from a village near Naples. They were very flavorful. My husband and I shared an order of spaghetti and meatballs. Even then, we couldn't finish it all. It was a huge platter and had three large meatballs. The imported tomatoes impart a distinctive flavor to the sauce. It was really good. I wish we lived closer, so I could try all the menu items. They don't have a liquor license yet, so if you want wine or beer with your meal, it's BYO with no corkage fee, for now.

"This is a casual diner with country atmosphere. They have a typical menu. I had a bacon, avocado, and swiss cheese omelette with fresh fruit. It was delicious and cooked just the way I like it. The fruit was strawberries, cantaloupe, watermelon, and pineapple, all fresh and perfectly ripe. The ..."coffee was really good. Better than most, in fact. My husband had an ortega burger. The bun was homemade and delicious with thousand island style dressing, lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions. My husband chose cole slaw as his side dish. The service was friendly, but hurried. There was only one waitress. The price was typical.
