"I live about 30 minutes from Monticello and heard a lot about this restaurant being good. My son ate there when it opened and really liked it. A buddy of mine and I were over there so decided to give it a try. We were seated and the hostess said our waitress would be right over - when she wasn't, th..."e hostess came back and introduced herself as the floor manager and said she would take care of us because our waitress was busy with a large party. I think her name was Beverly and she took great care of us. They have alcohol in a 'dry' town if you sign up (free) for their private membership and had Peronii (Italian) beer and a full bar. She brought us lemon on the side which is the way to go. We had Eggplant Rolotini - excellent! The balsamic portabello mushroom, also excellent. Also the special salad which had artichoke, olive and mushroom with the 'house' dressing was ...

"This is a first rate Itallian Restaurant! I fly all over the country and for a small town like Monticello to have this is great! The Chief is from Cypris and knows how to cook! Staff are very well trained, fast and friendly. Couldn't ask for a better Italian resturant anywhere, let alone in a sm..."all town!

Value: For the area, which has mainly fast-food chain restaurants, it is a little high. For the food and flavor you get, it's a great value.
Service: From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcomed. Our server was friendly and helpful, and all the staff went out of their way to provide hospitality. Even the owner (I presume) was on the dining floor greeting guests and talking with everyone. He even offered to ...
