  "I visited Lacock as part of a day tour to Stonehenge. It was pouring rain and after a quick turn around the town several of us headed to the Red Lion Pub for a quick drink. I don't actually drink beer and was excited to find out that not only did they have wine but they had wonderful options that ..."were very reasonably priced. My group ordered wine/beer, several orders of chips and asked for ketchup, mayo and any other available dips (clearly the meal of food connoisseurs. In all honestly, I think it might have been the best thing I ate for days. The staff was very nice and accommodative, bringing out every sauce that one could consider dipping a chip in. I will definitely be going back to Lacock on a sunnier day to explore the town and I plan to stop back at the Red Lion Pub. " More >
