I had booked my table months ahead, as Ushuaia can get very busy at cruise departure dates, and sure enough, there at the top of the bookings list was me! The very friendly host and hostess had the time to chat with me about the restaurant and also comparing the Melbourne eating scene with his place. The table setting was perfect, with beautiful linen and cutlery. I chose the king crab in a pastry parcel for starters and was taken by the delicacy of the dish,along with the presentation.
