"I have eaten at the Opelika, O'Charley's restaurant twice in recent visits to the area. The prices are very good for anyone on a budget and there is a very large selection of low-cost meals that include all the trimmings. Both times I was greeted by a warm, service-oriented host/hostess. The serv..."ice was excellent and the food was great, too. The rolls are exceptional. They are warm, moist, and practically melt in your mouth. The homemade chips are really good. And each of the chicken dishes I tried were great. I don't think that I have ever eaten chicken tenders that were so excellent. As someone who loves ranch and honey mustard saurce, these were the only chicken tenders I would sometimes choose to eat without any sauce at all. Yummy! Also, the bar selection is very good. The last trip I had the sangria and was very impressed with the lead bartender as well. Despite being fairly new to the bar, she was very knowledgable and able to manage many different things at once. ...

"This restaurant is a hidden gem in historic downtown Opelika, Alabama! I was dreaming of the food I had in Italy last summer and none of the usual chains fit the bill. So I googled Italian restaurants and found Ma Fia's. We had noticed it once before on a trip to downtown Opelika, so we decided t..."o try it. The decor of the restaurant was wonderful and we secured a window seat. There are only a few tables by the window. Most of the seating is back in the long narrow building with soft lighting. We wanted to watch the passers-by on this incredible spring evening.
I ordered a delicious Sangria that was garnished with a cherry and slices of orange, lime and lemon. It was a generous portion and tasted yummy. My salad was baby spinach and arugula with goat cheese dressed with a creamy balsamic. I was very happy with it. My husband's Caesar salad was differ mixture of spring greens, cherry tomatoes and croutons. It looked very good too. He got the lasagna and I ordered the veal r...

"Twice I have visited this establishment in my recent visits. Both times I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great place to relax for a drink and soak up the local downtown area, but it is also a nice place to dine out for a nice, reasonably priced experience. It is neat to see the train go by just a few yar..."ds away as you eat your mean, if you are lucky. They have two levels and two bars and outdoor and balcony seating. The hosts/servers are all very accomodating. But the bar selection is great and the food is unique and outstanding. On my last trip with a business associate, we had the Maytag chips which are definitely something to write home about, if yu still make a practice of it. Also, the dinner selection is very good. I finally settled on the shepphards pie, which I have only eaten in a restaurant a few times. It was an interesting spin on the dish that really hits home. The price and execution of the meal are spot on. Salad was great as was the homemade dressing, but the chips ...
