  "We went to La Marina because had read about it on tripadvisor. The entrance is nice lined with Champagne bottles. The interior decoration - WOW! They have spent a lot of money on the interior. The bar is huge and very nice. You order the food off ipads. The waiters and the manager speak Englis..."h - in most of the restaurants in SIP they speak in English but in Suzhou City none do, so it was a nice change. The location of the restaurant is in a nice location with a lot place for parking. There was a wedding dinner so half of the restaurant was busy with the function but we did not hear any of the usual loud music which was great! The food was nice - the club sandwich is the best we have eaten anywhere, the grilled salmon was cooked in butter - very good, the fried rice was nice too.   "I've been here at least four times since late February and the food has been fantastic every time. Great complimentary pizza appetizer, the chef Stefano often comes out, the Osso Bucco was great. Prociutto and melon is wonderful, as is the lasagna. After tonight's experience at Danny's Kitchen (wher..."e I had a live worm on my lasagna and they didn't comp the meal! If I had been a man, they would have comped the meal; I know this because when my husband and a group from Genentech went to Kincaid's in the SF peninsula and they saw a rat run through the restaurant about four years ago, Kincaid's comped the entire $400 dinner), I am really appreciating how great Alto Vino is.   "It's very nice and probably one of the few western restaurants I will go in Suzhou. Good italian food although it's a bit expensive compare with other restaurants in Suzhou, but compare to Shanghai it's nothing. "
