A very helpful waiter explained the differences pointing out what people were having at neighbouring tables. Our choices were delicious-generous portions without being overwhelming though our waiter did offer to bring more cheese and meat if we wanted it! The charming and friendly young chef (owner?) was welcoming, and her cooking was, well, superb. We had a velouté of garden vegetables, and an outstanding leg of duck confit on a bed of..." lentilles de Puy, with a sauce of garlic, butter and parsley. The wine list allowed us to chose an excellent and well-priced Crozes-Hermitage, there was an excellent rice pudding for dessert, and Calvados from an area with which I was unfamiliar, but excellent. It was so good we came back the next night, having the velouté again and a main of tournedos de boeuf smothered in morels with a cream sauce. Oh wow, it was to die for!
